Terms of Business
Your appointment is reserved especially for you. If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, we ask for a minimum of 36hrs notice. Where possible we will try to fill your cancelled appointment to prevent you getting charged 50% of the treatment cost.
Missed appointments and those cancelled on the same day incur a 100% fee. This includes rearranged appointments unless moved to a free slot on the same day.
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment, we also miss the opportunity to fill the gap and we run a brilliant waiting list and those clients don’t get the opportunity to receive our services.
Our cancellation policy allows us to inform clients of availability and can therefore continue to provide our service standards.
It is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals and disappointment. On the occasion that you are late your treatment time will be adjusted and time deducted accordingly.
All services booked must be paid for regardless of any changes on the day (i.e. dropping treatments).

Children Policy
We understand that parents and caregivers often juggle busy lives, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to enjoy your treatments with us.
Children Are Welcome
Children are very welcome at The Beauty Guru, as long as they can be safely and calmly accommodated during your appointment:
Babies and toddlers are welcome if they can remain safely contained in a pram, buggy, or car seat throughout the duration of your treatment.
Older children are welcome to sit and relax in our waiting area. We have a comfy sofa where they can read, watch a device (with headphones, please), or quietly entertain themselves while you enjoy your service.
Facilities & Support
We have baby changing facilities on the ground floor for your convenience (to the right of the desk).
If you are nursing or bottle-feeding, we can arrange use of our private Wellbeing Room for extra comfort and privacy—just let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Safety First
For the safety of your child, other clients, and our therapists, we do ask that children are not left to wander around the floor during treatments. Unfortunately, we are unable to take responsibility for supervising children at any time.
Dogs Policy
We’re proud to be a dog-friendly salon and warmly welcome well-behaved furry companions to join you for your appointment.
Bringing Your Dog to the Clinic
Dogs are very welcome at The Beauty Guru, especially as most of our treatments take place in private, locked rooms where they can relax safely by your side throughout.
We just ask that
Your dog is calm and settled enough to stay comfortably during your treatment
They arrive clean and dry
You let us know in advance if you’re bringing them, so we can ensure the room is ready
Consideration for Others
While most clients love meeting a friendly pooch, some may have allergies or prefer a dog-free space. If you’re bringing your dog please let us know just so we can check for allergies of other clients that day.
Assistance Dogs are, of course welcome - no need to let us know beforehand.
Complaints Policy
At The Beauty Guru, we take pride in delivering high standards of professional care and service. We are committed to ensuring every client is satisfied with their treatment and experience
Raising a Concern
If you are dissatisfied with any part of your treatment or experience, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible—ideally within 48 hours of your appointment—so we can investigate and resolve your concern quickly and fairly.
Visible Results or Treatment Concerns
If your complaint relates to a visible issue such as a skin reaction, irritation, waxing result, or nail treatment concern, we require you to attend the salon in person so we can assess the issue first-hand. Photographs may not provide sufficient clarity for us to evaluate properly. Please contact us to arrange a convenient time to come in.
We do not accept complaints or provide evaluations via social media messages, texts, or email alone for visible concerns.
No Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds on any treatments or services. However, if we agree that the service provided did not meet our usual standards, we may offer to repeat the treatment or provide an alternative resolution at our discretion.
This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which requires services to be provided with reasonable care and skill. Where this has been met, there is no automatic right to a refund. Our aim is always to resolve concerns fairly and professionally.
